18430 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant degassing valve, control circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor load signal, error message from ecu and wait then turbocharger 2 control module (j725), voltage supply outside permissible range is the final reason of the code. |
18430 Possible Causes:
18430 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 18430 Code
- Inspect all the connections air leak between maf and throttle body
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
