18430 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit and wait then reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault.

18430 Possible Causes:

18430 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Reverse Input Circuit

What To Check After Fixing 18430 Code

  • Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
