Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range also injection pump timing offset is the final reason of the code. |
18429 Possible Causes:
18429 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18429 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus engine/engine, defectively
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
