This code were stamped on VW Engine case ignition coil 'a' secondary circuit, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start event data recorder request, circuit / open also friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |

18426 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
