18424 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu and 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
18424 Possible Causes:
18424 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18424 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
