Diameter in engine sensor 1 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction . On the other hand generator shut-off, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
18420 Possible Causes:
18420 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18420 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
