This code were stamped on VW Engine case fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground and camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
18418 Possible Causes:
18418 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), open circuit
