The problem is about exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold runner control, basic setting not completed also charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ is the final reason of the code. |
18414 Possible Causes:
18414 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18414 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
