The problem is about evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system transmission mount valve 2 (n263), open circuit you can see the fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
18409 Possible Causes:
18409 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 2 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
