Staring in engine accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reductant injection air pump control, circuit low and exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
18408 Possible Causes:
18408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18408 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
