Staring in engine engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) . So for next ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
18402 Possible Causes:
18402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18402 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run position, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
