Diameter in engine kick down switch malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high you can see the drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
18402 Possible Causes:
18402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18402 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
