Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic . On the other hand please check dtc memory of instrument cluster will delay your vw fault. |
18400 Possible Causes:
18400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 18400 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission range display, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
