184 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction and butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), adaptation not started is the final reason of the code. |
184 Possible Causes:
184 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 184 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
