Diagnosing engine bar with camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed you can see the fuel pump 2 circuit, electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
184 Possible Causes:
184 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 184 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission control unit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
