When you open secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'c' primary control, short to plus also malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
18396 Possible Causes:
18396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18396 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, incorrect signal from adr control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
