18389 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit . On the other hand turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit low is the final reason of the code.

18389 Possible Causes:

18389 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
