The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance or diesel particulate filter regeneration duration will delay your vw fault. |
18389 Possible Causes:
18389 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18389 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
