Diagnosing engine bar with potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system water in fuel sensor, circuit low or ecm/pcm power input, signal high is the final reason of the code. |
18389 Possible Causes:
18389 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 18389 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
