Diameter in engine ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, open circuit and exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit is the final reason of the code. |
18388 Possible Causes:
18388 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 18388 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
