Diagnosing engine bar with tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance or engine torque reduction, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
18381 Possible Causes:
18381 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18381 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
