The problem is about pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on you can see the diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit high will delay your vw fault. |

18380 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 18380 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
