Diagnosing engine bar with secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high or 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
18379 Possible Causes:
18379 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18379 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
