When you open intake flap motor 2 (v275), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
18378 Possible Causes:
18378 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18378 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 3, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
