18372 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match or coolant degassing valve, control circuit / open will delay your vw fault.

18372 Possible Causes:

18372 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

What To Check After Fixing 18372 Code

  • Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
