18360 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance . On the other hand reductant injection air pump control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
18360 Possible Causes:
18360 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18360 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 13, low circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
