Diagnosing engine bar with angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too small mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high you can see the barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18358 Possible Causes:
18358 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 18358 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
