18356 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground and nox sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
18356 Possible Causes:
18356 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18356 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c control module requested, mil illumination
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
