18353 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean and hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), no / incorrect basic setting/adaptation is the final reason of the code. |
18353 Possible Causes:
18353 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18353 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
