The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault system too rich at higher load, bank 2 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on you can see the vehicle speed signal, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
18351 Possible Causes:
18351 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18351 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
