This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel level sensor 2, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu . So for next linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
18338 Possible Causes:
18338 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18338 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
