The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cylinder 1 above knock threshold It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data bus engine/engine, defectively and secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
18337 Possible Causes:
18337 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 18337 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
