This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage or change exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly will delay your vw fault. |
18337 Possible Causes:
18337 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18337 Code
- Inspect all the connections outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
