Diagnosing engine bar with linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles signal for back-up lights, short to ground you can see the secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
18335 Possible Causes:
18335 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18335 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
