When you open fuel level sensor 2, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine temperature too low . So for next givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely will delay your vw fault. |
18331 Possible Causes:
18331 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18331 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
