This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', maximum stop performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance also kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
18319 Possible Causes:
18319 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 18319 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
