18318 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ and ignition coil 'd' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
18318 Possible Causes:
18318 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18318 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
