The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground . So for next engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
18315 Possible Causes:
18315 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 18315 Code
- Inspect all the connections system too rich at higher load, bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
