The problem is about intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance or change ignition coil 'g' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
18314 Possible Causes:
18314 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18314 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
