The problem is about throttle plate control 2, malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high and wait then electronic control module incorrect coding is the final reason of the code. |
18309 Possible Causes:
18309 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18309 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
