The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of central electric ecu . So for next glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
18308 Possible Causes:
18308 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18308 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
