18301 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2, compensation wire pump current, open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground and wait then secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
18301 Possible Causes:
18301 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18301 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 1 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
