Accumulated in electronic control units so clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature also relays for pump load air cooling (j536), interruption / short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
183 Possible Causes:
183 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 183 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
