Staring in engine secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed please check dtc memory of airbag ecu or exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
18278 Possible Causes:
18278 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 18278 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group a, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
