This something to do with the intake camshaft timing tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance . On the other hand injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
18271 Possible Causes:
18271 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 18271 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
