The problem is about throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), interruption / short-circuit to b+ . So for next bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation is the final reason of the code. |

18271 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 18271 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
