The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel level sensor 2, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system control module defective and evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
18268 Possible Causes:
18268 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 18268 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
