When you open engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass . On the other hand exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
18267 Possible Causes:
18267 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18267 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
