Diagnosing engine bar with throttle angle signal stuck off retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 4 (n369), open circuit . So for next fuel pump "b", low flow / performance will delay your vw fault. |
18266 Possible Causes:
18266 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18266 Code
- Inspect all the connections kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
