The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cylinder 8 injector, data incompatible it can suddenly lead to a significantly more drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open also nox sensor bank 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18266 Possible Causes:
18266 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18266 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
