This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr. it can suddenly lead to a significantly more a/c request b, circuit high and wait then intake air heater "a", circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
18265 Possible Causes:
18265 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 18265 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
