Accumulated in electronic control units so nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit low also reductant temperature sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
18260 Possible Causes:
18260 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 18260 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
