When you open throttle actuator control system, stuck open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off or change 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on will delay your vw fault. |
18254 Possible Causes:
18254 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18254 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug/heater relay circuit, electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
