This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed nox sensor bank 2, circuit or change fuel pump 2 circuit, electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
18248 Possible Causes:
18248 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18248 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation flow 2, insufficient detected
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
