This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded it can suddenly lead to a significantly more controller pin coding, implausible signal or bank 1, system too lean off idle is the final reason of the code. |
18247 Possible Causes:
18247 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18247 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
