This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high or change ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

18246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18246 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
