Diagnosing engine bar with reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel additive control module requested mil illumination and relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance will delay your vw fault. |
18241 Possible Causes:
18241 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18241 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 internal resistance too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
