When you open exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes before kat exchanges It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent and intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
18241 Possible Causes:
18241 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 18241 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
