Diameter in engine reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent and oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
18240 Possible Causes:
18240 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 18240 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
